Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to purchases made through the MOBOLAJI website and any order placed using it. By placing an order, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these terms.

2. Products

MOBOLAJI sells a mix of made-to-order clothing, consigned artworks, consigned jewellery, and selected in-house works and products.

Some items are one-off, editioned, handmade, produced in small batches, or made only after purchase. Availability is therefore subject to artist, maker, consignor, or production capacity.

3. Product descriptions

MOBOLAJI aims to describe and photograph products accurately. Because many items are handmade or produced in small runs, slight differences in colour, placement, stitching, finish, framing, dimensions, or materials may occur and will not by themselves amount to a defect.

4. Pricing

MOBOLAJI is not currently VAT-registered. Prices shown are the total price payable by the customer. No VAT is added.

Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout before payment is completed.

5. Orders and acceptance

When a customer places an order, MOBOLAJI will send an acknowledgement email. A binding contract is formed only when MOBOLAJI sends an order confirmation accepting the order.

6. Availability and order refusal

MOBOLAJI may decline or cancel an order where an item is unavailable, a listing contains a clear error, fraud is suspected, payment has not been authorised, or a consignor or maker withdraws the item before acceptance. Any cancelled order will be refunded in full.

7. Made-to-order items

Certain MOBOLAJI garments are produced only after purchase. The product page will state the estimated lead time. Unless stated otherwise, launch T-shirts should be expected to be delivered within approximately four weeks of payment.

8. Bespoke and personalised items

Where an item is made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, additional terms may apply and will be stated on the product page or in a separate order confirmation.

9. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout using the payment methods made available on the website. MOBOLAJI reserves the right to use fraud checks and identity verification where reasonably necessary.

10. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only. Risk in goods passes to the customer on delivery. Title to goods passes only when full cleared payment has been received.

11. International orders

For orders delivered outside the UK, the customer is responsible for import duties, customs charges, local taxes, and any local compliance obligations unless MOBOLAJI expressly states otherwise.

12. Cancellations and returns

Customer cancellation and return rights are set out in the Returns & Cancellation Policy published on the website. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, the customer should contact MOBOLAJI promptly at orders@mobolaji.uk. MOBOLAJI will arrange the appropriate remedy in line with applicable law.

14. Intellectual property

All website content, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, product descriptions, and layout, is owned by MOBOLAJI or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, adapted, or used without prior written permission.

15. Website use

The customer must not misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, upload unlawful material, or attempt to obtain unauthorised access to accounts, code, or systems.

16. Events outside our control

MOBOLAJI is not responsible for delays or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including courier disruption, customs delays, extreme weather, platform outages, strikes, supplier failures, or similar events.

17. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, MOBOLAJI’s liability for losses arising out of a purchase will be limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.

18. Privacy and data

Personal data is handled in accordance with the MOBOLAJI Privacy Notice and Cookies Notice published on the website.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law in another jurisdiction applies.
